Dancing queen Saroj Khan passes away.

Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan dies at age of 71 .
The veteran choreographer Saroj was popularly known as ” master ji ” .
On 20th of June she was hospitalised to Mumbai’s Guru Nanak hospital at Bandra after she complained about difficulty in breathing .
But today she dies due to cardiac attack.

Notably , the mandatory covid-19 test was done at the hospital and showed a negative report.

Manish Jagwani , Saroj’s nephew told news agency about her demise . He said ” she passed away due to cardiac arrest at around 2:30 am at the hospital ” .

Master ji Saroj khan won 3 national awards and directed over 2000 songs in her career .

At age of three , Saroj khan was background dancer but in year 1974 , when film ” Geeta Mera Naam” released she got her big break as choreographer.
Saroj was fondly known as mother of dance / choreographer in India . She gave 40 remarkable years of her life to Bollywood.

Song ‘ Dhak dhak karne laga ‘ featuring Madhuri Dixit and ‘ Dola re Dola’ featuring Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri still remains most iconic and popular dance numbers produced by Bollywood.

In Bollywood most of the song’s choreographed by khan . She were also a trained choreographer in the 90s who came out to make a big name in Bollywood Industry, including Farah khan.

Her last choreography seen on screen was for ” tabaah ho Gaye ” for the movie kalank in 2019 .

Her daughter sukaina said to PTI ” we buried her at around 7 am . The prayer meeting will be held after three days ” .

Madhuri Dixit is heartbroken by learning about her master ji sudden demise , she tweeted –

” I am devastated by the loss of my friend and guru , Saroj khan will always be grateful for her work in the helping me to reach my full potential in dance. Amitabh Bachchan tweeted , ” hands are folded and heart uneasy , sending out prayers ” , without naming Khan .

” Woke up to the sad news that legendary choreographer#Sarojkhan ji is no more ” , wrote Akshay Kumar.
