After Deepika’s cameo in Ranveer’s upcoming film Cirkus, they were seen heading to Qatar where the actress unveiled the prestigious trophy of FIFA World Cup 2022 ahead of the final clash between Argentina and France. After unveiling the trophy, Deepika Padukone joined husband Ranveer Singh at the stadium. Ranveer took to his Instagram space to share some pictures with his own ‘trophy’. Ranveer and Deepika were seen cheering for Messi-led Argentina. In one of the photos shared by Ranveer, the couple was seen flashing their million dollar smile as they posed for the camera. The actor was a proud husband as he shared a video of Deepika Padukone unveiling the trophy. “Bursting with pride. That’s my baby!” he wrote, adding “just check her out! Sparkling on the world’s biggest stage.” “Asli trophy toh mere haath mein hai,” he wrote praising wife Deepika Padukone, while also adding “so glad we witnessed this together.”

On the film front, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Cirkus which is scheduled to hit theatres on December 23. The Rohit Shetty-directed is a comedy of errors which will see Ranveer Singh in double roles. The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma and Sanjay Mishra among others. Ranveer also has Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani in his pipeline.

Deepika will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film will release in theatres in January 2023. Deepika also has The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan in her pipeline.
