Delhi Acid Attack: The horrific Delhi acid attack incident has sent chills across the country, bringing back distressed memories to victims. Kangana Ranaut, whose sister and manager Rangoli Chandel was also a victim of acid attack, has shared the trauma. Mentioning that she was herself terrified after the attack, the actor added that she would cover her face every time a stranger passed by her.

Kangana Ranaut shared the trauma she and her family went through after her sister Rangoli Chandel suffered an acid attack. Taking to her Instagram stories, she wrote, “When I was a teenager my sister @rangoli r chandel was attacked with acid by a road side Romeo…. She had to go through 52 surgeries, unimaginable amount of mental and physical trauma…. We as a family were devastated …. I also had to go through therapy because I feared anyone passing me might throw acid on me which caused me to cover my face violently in a reflex action every time a biker a car a stranger crossed me …. These atrocities haven’t stopped …. Government need to act very strongly against these crimes ….I do agree with @gautamgambhir55 we need to take very strict measures against acid attackers…”
Gautam Gambhir on Delhi Acid Attack
BJP MP an former cricketer Gautam Gambhir on Wednesday demanded public execution of the person who threw acid on a 17-year-old Girl.
In a tweet, Gambhir wrote, “Words can’t do any justice. We ave to install fear of immeasurable pain in these animals. The boy who threw acid at the school girl needs t be publicly executed by authorities.”

The girl is currently undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital’s burn ICU, as per the latest report. Three people, including victim’s neighbour, have been arrested by the police.
