New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn took to his Instagram account to share the wildly anticipated first look from his upcoming movie Drishyam 2. The film is the second instalment in his 2015 film, Drishyam. Alongside dropping the first look of the film, he also announced that the ‘recall teaser’ of Drishyam will be out tomorrow, September 29, 2022.

In the first look poster of Drishyam 2, Ajay can be seen standing and holding a shovel behind his back. He is accompanied by his wife and two daughters. The original film also starred Shriya Saran, Ishita, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor along with Ajay and Tabu. In a new addition to the film, Akshaye Khanna will be joining the team. He is expected to feature as a police officer. The film is slated to release on November 18, 2022. While sharing the first poster of his movie, AJAY captioned, “2 aur 3 October ko kya hua tha yaad hai na? Vijay Salgaonkar is back with his family. (Do you remember what happened on October 2 and 3?) About Drishyam
Ajay plays Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam, who sacrifices everything to defend his family when his daughter inadvertently murders a boy who tries to blackmail her. Vijay disposes the boy’s body, gets rid of all the evidence, and then takes the family to Panaji. They fabricate their alibis by going to an Ashram, seeing a movie, and eating at a restaurant.
Nishikant Kamat, who won a National Award for his direction of Drishyam, the Hindi version of the popular Malayalam film of the same name, passed away in 2020 at the age of 50. The majority of the original cast, including Tabu in the role of tough top policeman Meera Deshmukh, will return for the sequel.
