Drishyam 2 Box Office Collection: The 2015 crime thriller Drishyam’s sequel, Drishyam 2, is off to a strong start, earning 15.38 crore on its first day at the box office, the movie’s producers announced on Saturday.
The much anticipated film of Ajay Devgan was released on 18th of November. The Abhishek Pathak-directed film shattered this year’s blockbusters record for the biggest opening day take in domestic theatres after receiving favourable reviews from critics and audiences.
According to reports, Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 is doing well in Malaysia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.
Trade Analyst Ramesh Bala tweet, “@ajaydevgn’s #Drishyam2 is doing well in Overseas too.. UAE, Singapore and Malaysia.”
He did another tweet, “Excellent opening for @ajaydevgn ‘s #Drishyam2 …Early estimates for Day 1 All-India Nett is ₹ 14.50 Crs..”
Beats Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Ram Setu
The movie was able to surpass Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Ram Setu, which had respectively made 13.41 crore and 14.84 crore on their opening days.
According to reports, the production company Panorama Studios revealed “Drishyam 2’s” first-day box office earnings and expressed their delight at the audience’s reception.

The production banner said in a statement, “The movie has garnered critical acclaim and excellent word of mouth. The footfall at theatres has increased to the point that multiplex chains have added midnight shows to fulfill the demand for ‘Drishyam 2.”
Star cast of Drishyam 2
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Vijay Salgoankar in “Drishyam 2.” Along with Akshaye Khanna, the film also features Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, and Ishita Dutta.
Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar are the producers of “Drishyam 2.” The production houses include Viacom18 Studios, T-Series, and Panorama Studios.
