Social media influencer and actress Jumana Abdu Rahman recently attended one of the most anticipated fashion events in Dubai—Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan’s D’YAVOL After Dark+, showcasing the luxury fashion brand D’YAVOL X, which was co-founded by Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son. Held on Sunday, October 27, at Sky 2.0 in Dubai Design District, the event showcased the latest in luxury streetwear. Jumana, whose digital presence and unique style have earned her a massive following, was among the elite guests attending the star-studded evening.
Khan’s D’YAVOL X collection introduced a fresh take on luxury streetwear, blending high fashion with street culture. Known for his legendary influence across industries, Shah Rukh Khan’s venture into luxury fashion has generated significant buzz. The event wasn’t just a fashion show—it was a celebration of music, glamour, and a sophisticated lifestyle inspired by Khan’s brand. Shah Rukh was accompanied by his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan, with actor Sanjay Kapoor, a close family friend, also in attendance.
Expressing her excitement, Jumana shared, “It was such an honor to be invited to Shah Rukh Khan’s D’YAVOL launch. His vision of luxury and style resonates with so many of us, and I was thrilled to see how he redefined streetwear in his own way.”
Jumana’s appearance at the event was eagerly anticipated by fans and fashion lovers alike, as she continues to be a prominent name in Dubai’s entertainment and fashion circles. Over the years, she has worked in more than a dozen music videos. Her influence extends beyond entertainment; she has also taken the stage as a TEDx speaker and launched her own perfume and skincare line.
Driven by her passion for making a positive impact, Jumana actively supports her father’s charity, which focuses on healthcare and educational initiatives. The family has also helped establish a home for the elderly, reflecting their commitment to giving back to the community.
Jumana made headlines as the first female influencer to have her image displayed on the iconic Burj Khalifa, following Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She has collaborated with over 200 brands across the GCC and clinched the championship title in the GCC’s first-ever female influencer boxing event. She has served as a brand ambassador for many brands, including Ponds, Pantene, Xiaomi, Vivo, Cetaphil, and Pepsi, and has collaborated with Dubai Tourism, the Emaar Group, and Bollywood Parks, La Mer.
Jumana is also the brand ambassador for the Kerala Strikers, a team in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) owned by Mohanlal, Rajkumar, Sripriya, Shaji, Jaison, and Mibu Jose Nettikaden. Her widespread influence earned her a Golden Visa in Dubai, marking her as a celebrated creative in the UAE. In 2022, Al Nahda Center in Dubai provided her Golden Visa, making her the first social media influencer in Dubai to receive this recognition, which is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions in their fields.
With a background in acting, business, and social impact, Jumana’s presence added to the prestige of the D’YAVOL launch. Her foray into acting includes appearances in the Malayalam film Aanaparambile World Cup (2022) and the Emirati movie Ghanoom the Billionaire (2023). She also participated in Asianet’s cooking reality show Family Cook Off Season 2 and made her amateur boxing debut in the Social Knockout 2 event in Dubai in 2021. Jumana has collaborated with numerous international stars, including Will Smith, Bollywood celebrities, and South Indian stars, and she has been featured on billboards across Dubai for major campaigns, including TikTok, ADNOC, and Al Ansari Exchange.
Jumana has achieved several prestigious awards throughout her career. She holds a Talent Record Book 2023 world record and won the Filmfare Social Night award. Additionally, she participated in MBIFL’24 (Edition 5), won the Gulf Madhyamam Award (Indo-Arab Woman Excellence Award 2022), Dubai WOW Awards 2019 by Panache, and Mastervision International Excellence Awards 2022. The event left a lasting impression on Dubai’s fashion community, solidifying her position as one of the city’s most influential figures.
