Dunki Box Office Collection Day 1: While Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan both made over one billion rupees at the box office globally, the actor’s most recent film, Dunki, which opened in theatres on Thursday, has not been able to generate the same excitement and money. Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that the movie made Rs 30 crore nett domestic on its first day of release, making it the seventh-biggest opening of the year after Jawan, Animal, Pathaan, Tiger 3, Gadar 2, and Adipurush. On the first day of business, Jawan made Rs 75 crore and Adipurush made Rs 36 crore.

According to the first-day box office results, Dunki is the least popular Shah Rukh Khan movie of the year. It is still larger than Dream Girl 2 (Rs 10.69 crore), Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (Rs 11.1 crore), Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (Rs 15.73 crore), and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Rs 15.81 crore).
Dunki scored a 29.94% total occupancy rate on Thursday. There were 1,081 shows with an occupancy rate of around 29.75% in Mumbai and 1,412 shows with an occupancy rate of about 31% in the NCR area. The movie, which has a single release on Thursday, will have to contend with Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, which was released on Friday in many languages.
