Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani: Post the release of the hit film “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani“, the audience was stunned to see the 87-year-old actor perform a kissing scene on screen. The actor kissed his co-actor Shabana Azmi, 72, during a romantic scene in the movie. Although the audience had a lot of different reactions to it, they were especially curious about what his family had to say about it.
Esha Deol on Dharmendra’s kissing scene
Esha Deol, daughter of Dharmendra and Hema Malini, was asked about the scene, in an interview with ZOOM channel. She expressed that she is not concerned or bothered by the scene at all. She added, “There is a barrier or age for love or kissing—who said so? He is the coolest! He is so handsome. Papa, by nature, is very romantic; he will do his shayari and everything. He has always been that way. Shabana Ji is fantastic, and I have a huge soft spot for Jaya Aunty. Karan Johar is amazing; it was shot beautifully, and they are all professional actors.” However, she mentioned that she did not watch the film as a daughter by stating, “No! A lot of portions I couldn’t watch like an audience member because I am his daughter; there were a lot of emotional scenes, and it wasn’t easy, but I wanted to watch the film.”
Sunny Deol on Dharmendra’s kissing scene
Sunny Deol also stated that he did not mind any scenes as he accepted that romantic genes run in the family. When asked about the scene, he said, “I believe my genes come from my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. We’ll keep going because it’s all in our genes. Didn’t you see Papa recently in that film, and he had a beautiful romantic scene. This is in our genes.”
