FIFA World Cup 2022: It was a high on adrenaline rush clash at the FIFA World Cup 2022 Finale played between France and Argentina on Sunday. The event saw the presence of all the football fanatics from around the world including top Bollywood stars. Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Pathaan was also present at the event.

Argentina emerged as the winner with legendary footballer Lionel Messi scoring three goals for the team. With this, Messi ended Argentina’s long dry spell and won his first FIFA World Cup title. Soon after this, fans took to social media to praise the Greatest of All Time (GOAT).

After showing his support to Messi during the #askSRK session, Shah Rukh Khan penned a tribute to the footballer post the epic win. “We are living in the time of one of the best World Cup Finals ever. I remember watching WC with my mom on a small tv….now the same excitement with my kids!! And thank u #Messi for making us all believe in talent, hard work, and dreams!!“ the Pathaan actor said in his tweet.

During the match, Shah Rukh was seen promoting the film at the stadium. He was seen promising his upcoming film Pathaan with Wayne Rooney during a live interaction at a national TV channel. Being his ever charming self, Shah Rukh was seen having a free-wheeling chat with Rooney and the duo also performed former’s signature pose on the stage.
Bollywood stars at FIFA World Cup 2022
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, a host of Bollywood celebs were present during the final clash between France and Argentina. His Pathaan co-start Deepika Padukone unveiled the trophy prior to the match and was later seen enjoying the match with husband Ranveer Singh. Kartik Aaryan, Karisma Kapoor, and Aayush Sharma were among others who attended the lats match of the championship. Meanwhile, Nora Fatehi closed the ceremony with her electrifying performance on Light The Sky.
