The stories of significant political individuals have frequently been adapted for the big screen, although not all of these movies have found a lasting appeal with viewers. Unfortunately, numerous films about well-known leaders have bombed at the box office or garnered mixed reviews from reviewers despite their compelling subjects. Sardar
The lead role in the film Sardar was played by Paresh Rawal and this film was based on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was called the Iron Man of the country. There was a lot of discussion about this film and Paresh Rawal was also being praised a lot but the film did not perform well and it could not perform well at the box office.
The Accidental Prime Minister
The Accidental Prime Minister is a film based on the life of Manmohan Singh in which Anupam Kher plays the lead role and Akshay Khanna also played an important role in the film. This film was based on the book of the same name which was written by Sanjay, who was Manmohan Singh’s media advisor. There was a lot of curiosity among the people about this film but this film could not perform well.
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar
Based on the life of Indian leader and freedom fighter Veer Savarkar, the film was directed by Randeep Hooda and he acted in the lead role. The film was released in 2024 but it failed to impress the audience. However, the film was released on the streaming service ZEE5 but it didn’t receive positive response from the audience on that platform as well.
PM Narendra Modi
The film was based on the life of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This film featured some fictional incidents and the audience didn’t like the movie that much as it was not as per the expectation of the audience. Vivek Oberoi played the lead role in the film and its songs became very popular but the film failed to impress the audience.
Main Atal Hoon
The film was based on the life of India’s former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Pankaj Tripathi played the lead role in the film but his performance wasn’t well-received by the audience. He failed to leave a mark on the audience in the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It was directed by Ravi Jadhav and the film didn’t perform well.
