Time’s most influential 2023: According to Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2023, Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan, film director S.S. Rajamouli, writer Salman Rushdie, and television host and judge Padma Lakshmi are among them. The list also includes King Charles, US Vice President Joe Biden, the millionaire CEO Elon Musk, the legendary singer and artist Beyonce, and the swimmers and activists Sara Mardini and Yusra Mardini, both of Syrian descent.
Shah Rukh Khan will always be remembered as one of the best actors of all time-Deepika Padukone
According to Deepika Padukone, a fellow actress who wrote Shah Rukh Khan’s Proflie, ‘For someone who has known him intimately and cares for him deeply, 150 words will never do justice to the phenomenon that is Shah Rukh Khan.’ Deepika Padukone stated that Shah Rukh Khan will always be remembered as one of the best actors of all time, saying that she continued, ‘But what truly sets him apart is his brains, his chivalry, and his kindness. The list is endless.’ Shah Rukh Khan received 4% of the more than 1.2 million votes cast in the 2023 TIME100 reader poll, which asked readers to choose the persons they thought should be on Time’s annual list of the most influential people.
I refer to him as the master storyteller-Alia Bhatt
Actress Alia Bhatt said for SS Rajamouli that ‘The RRR director knows the audience he’s serving. He is aware of the rhythms to hit and the turns to make. Because he actually enjoys the flair and abandon of stories, I refer to him as the master storyteller. He also brings us together,’ remarked Alia Bhatt. She continued by pointing out that although India is a sizable country with a different population, taste, and culture, SS Rajamouli “unites us through his movies.” The RRR director had once responded to Alia Bhatt’s request for acting coaching by saying, ‘Whatever option you choose, just do that with love. The audience will be able to see that you enjoy what you’re doing even if the movie doesn’t succeed by the look in your eyes.’
Wong called Padma Lakshmi an ‘incredible writer’
In her Profile for Padma Lakshmi, comedian, actor, and Emmy-nominated writer Ali Wong wrote that ‘The television host’s real passion for food and her intelligence make it electrifying to watch her as the host of Top Chef and Taste the Nation With Padma Lakshmi. She’s quite stunning, too, which helps,’ Wong added. Wong called Padma Lakshmi an “incredible writer” and claimed that this quality comes through in her speaking.
