GOAT Box Office Collection Day 1: Thalapathy Vijay’s most-awaited film the Greatest of All Time aka GOAT is roaring at the Box Office. The film opened with tremendous opening numbers and received majorly favorable reviews. The film surpassed Indian 2’s opening collection and became the biggest Tamil opener of the year. It was released in three Indian languages, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and witnessed great occupancy in the theaters. According to sacnilk.com, the film earned INR 43 crore on the first day. However, as the hype of Stree 2 is still on the rise, Vijay’s latest film couldn’t beat Shraddha Kapoor Rajkummar starrer Stree 2. Amar Kaushik directed Stree’s sequel opened with 76.5 Crore and currently holds the title of the biggest film of the year.

Vijay’s latest flick created a big impact with its first-day digits. Although GOAT Box Office Collection couldn’t beat last year’s Blockbuster film Leo’s first-day digits but it stands strong with INR 43 crore opening day. According to industry tracker sacnilk.com, the film hit INR 43 crore nett in India and this is an early estimate. The Tamil version of the film witnessed an occupancy of 76.23 percent while the maximum audience attended the show at night. The GOAT is expected to rise but it is quite unfavourable to say if the film can take over Stree 2 or Leo.
Thalapathy Vijay Work Front
South Indian superstar Thalapathy Vijay is known for his great works in the film industry. Last year he released Leo and became a sensation in India. This year’s release is considered to be Thalapathy’s penultimate film and Vijay is working on his next film, Thalapathy 69 which means it will be his 69th film as a lead. The actor has decided to move towards politics and work there.
GOAT is a science action thriller film directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film stars big names, including Thalapathy Vijay, fans will see Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan and Sneha in supporting roles.
