Godfather movie box office collection: Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Godfather’ has been released on October 6 and after two days, the film has created a bang at the box office. The film did a business of Rs 38 crore on the first day and earned Rs 31 crore on the second day. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, ‘Godfather’ has earned Rs 69.12 crore in two days. Bala has given this information on his Twitter account.
The film was released on 5 October, starring Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara in lead roles. Salman Khan is also in a cameo role in it. The film is based on political issues and is full of action. The film is doing well not only in Telugu but also in Hindi language. In North also, the film collected Rs 2.25 crore on the first day itself. With this, the film has been included in the list of Pan India Films. According to reports, the film has been made in a big budget of Rs 100 crore.
Malayam version was produced by Pritviraj Sukumaran
The Godfather is the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrier and Tovino Thomas were seen in important roles in that film. ‘Godfather’ is produced by Ram Charan’s Konidela Production Company and RB Choudhary’s Super Good Films. While the Malayalam film was produced by Prithviraj Sukumaran. That film may soon be streamed on OTT as well.
Salman Khan’s fans loved his short role in Godfather. Salman Khan has not charged any fee for this role. This was revealed by Chiranjeevi himself at the Hindi trailer launch event of the film. Chiranjeevi became emotional at the event and told that he returned the fee which was given to Salman Khan. Salman had said yes to this role because of his friendship and love with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan.
