Naseeruddin Shah, a great Bollywood actor who turns 71 years old today (Tuesday). 
He is one of Hindi cinema’s most varied and multi-talented performers. He is known for his iconic roles. Shah has governed Hindi cinema for decades with his path-breaking roles. 
He started his career with a film in 1975 called ‘Nishant’ where he played the role of Vishwam and earned tremendous acclaim for his natural acting talent. 
Shah was trained at the National School of Drama and became one of the most-visible faces of the movement known as the parallel cinema.
Throughout his 47-year career, he has received several national and international honours, including the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan.
