Shahrukh Khan, the King of Bollywood, is celebrating his 55th birthday today. Shahrukh Khan has been in the industry for more than 28 years. He started his career with the film ‘Deewana’. In which he was also accompanied by Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti.
Shah Rukh Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in Delhi to Taj Mohammad Khan and Latif Fatima.
But his grandmother followed him in Mangalore for the first five years. His maternal grandfather was the Chief Engineer of Mangalore Port. Tourists reach the Harbor House where they stayed in Mangalore today.
Shahrukh’s first TV serial was Fauji (1989) directed by Colonel Kapoor. Colonel Kapoor saw some boys running away .. Only a few boys returned, including Shahrukh. Shahrukh was selected for the army with him.
In 1991, he signed his first film Hema Malini ‘Dil Asna Hai’. While his first film as a lead actor was ‘Deewana’ on 25 June 1992.
Shah Rukh Khan also won the Best Debut Award for Deewana.
Shah Rukh Khan received the Padma Shri Samman in 2005. Also received his doctorate from the University of Edinburgh.
In 2007, Shah Rukh’s wax statu was included at the Madame Tussauds Museum in London. After this, his statue was placed in the Delhi Museum.
Shahrukh is the first Bollywood actor to be awarded the prestigious award in Malaysia. In 2014, he was awarded the highest civilian award of France, the Legion of Honor. Also received his doctorate from the University of Edinburgh.
