Famous singer of the Haryanvi industry Raju Punjabi passed away on Tuesday (August 22). Raju Punjabi was 40 years old and was admitted in a private hospital in Hisar for the last 10 days. The singer was suffering from the deadly disease Hepatitis C due to which he got an infection in his liver and lungs. Raju’s health had deteriorated so much that he was on a ventilator. According to reports, his last rites will be performed at his birthplace Rawatsar Kheda. As soon as the sad news of death was received, the family and close relatives left for Hisar.
The famous singer was a well known personality of Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan and his songs were very much liked by the fans. His pairing with Haryanvi sensation Sapna Choudhary was a hit and fans loved to see this pair together.

Raju Punjabi was suffering from hepatitis C and was undergoing treatment for several days from Hisar, Haryana. However, in between he had recovered and had returned home. But suddenly Raju’s health deteriorated again, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Raju Punjabi was married and had three daughters.

Raju Punjabi has made a lot of contributions in the Haryana Music Industry. The famous singer’s ‘Solid Body’, ‘Sandal’, ‘Tu Cheez Lajawab’ and ‘Desi-Desi’ created a buzz across the country. Raju Punjabi’s last song with lyrics ‘Aapse Milke Yaara Humko Achcha Laga Tha’ was released on 12th August.
