It also stars Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, and Priyanka Sharma in pivotal roles. Read on to know more about the movie.
Yashoda is based on a True Incident
According to reports, it is a true incident based film. “The backdrop of the story is about a crime which is happening without the knowledge of anyone in society. The crime which we are showing is based on a true incident but we have added some psychological thriller flavour to it. It is about a crime that is confronted by a normal girl when she learns about it. How she exposes the plot.”
Yashoda, directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan, features a surrogate in this edge-of-seat action thriller. Samantha will play the role of surrogate mother Yashoda in the movie, who bravely reveals the details of a horrible medical crime. In Yashoda, Samantha will be featured in scenes that are action-packed and include judo, kickboxing, and boxing, etc.
Samantha and Yannick Ben are working together for the second time, they previously worked together on “The Family Man.” Recently, the stunt coordinator praised the leading woman for her effort and devotion. The action scenes, according to the actress, were the most difficult to shoot for Yashoda.
Yashoda just so happens to be one of the surrogate mothers who enrols in a facility that houses a number of other surrogate mothers who are employed to carry the children of powerful people. In a world where commercial surrogacy is common, the movie exposes a conspiracy.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu began a series of film promotions before to the release of Yashoda despite being unwell. Samantha recently did an interview with Yashoda and went into great detail regarding her Myositis rehabilitation and coping mechanisms. She said, “As I said earlier, there are some good days and there are some bad days. On some days, getting up from bed is difficult. And on some days, I want to fight. Slowly, the days I want to fight are becoming more. It’s been three months now. I want to clarify that I am not dying anytime soon. I saw many articles that I have a life-threatening condition. No, I don’t. It’s an autoimmune condition. It’s draining and tiring. I’ve always been a fighter and I will fight.”
Movie will release in Different Languages
Five Indian languages—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi—will be used for the release of Yashoda. The multilingual movie Yashoda will be remade and distributed in Hindi in addition to other languages, despite Samantha’s lack of a Bollywood debut. The movie is all set to release on 11th November.
