Kangana Ranaut: In light of Hindi Day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the significance of Hindi, emphasising its unifying role in the nation. However, South actor Prakash Raj expressed disagreement with Amit Shah’s statement and posed questions. In response, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut responded to Prakash Raj’s remarks.

Home Minister Amit Shah had said, “Hindi is the name for unifying the diversity of languages of India, the world’s largest democracy. From the independence movement till today, Hindi has played an important role in uniting the country.”
This did not go well with Prakash Raj, who took to X, and wrote, “You speak Hindi because you know Hindi…You ask us to speak Hindi because you…only…know Hindi. Stop Hindi Diwas, Stop.” Hindi Imposition, Stop Hindi Hegemony.” However, Kangana Ranaut did not hold back and replied with, “Amit Shah ji is from Gujarat, his mother tongue is Gujarati.”

On the professional front, Kangana‘s recent appearance was in the film “Dhaakad,” alongside Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, and Saswata Chatterjee. She also made a cameo in “Tiku Weds Sheru,” starring Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, a project that Kangana herself produced.
Looking ahead, Kangana has “Chandramukhi 2” scheduled for release on September 28, 2023. She is also set to feature in “Emergency,” alongside Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman in significant roles. Additionally, Kangana has “Tejas” in her lineup, where she will take on the role of an Air Force pilot.
