HIT 2 trailer: Adivi Shesh is back after the ‘Major’ success. The trailer of his upcoming film HIT 2 or HIT: The Second Case was launched on Wednesday. While the first part gained critical acclaim for its storyline, HIT 2 has caught viewers’ attention for a whole lot different reason. As per a section of netizens, the trailer has an uncanny similarity with the Shraddha Walker case that shook the nation.
What Adivi Sesh Said
During HIT 2 trailer launch, Adivi Sesh said that the script of the film was written about a year ago. However, he noted that the film has an ‘eerie similarity’ to the Shraddha Walker case. “Yeah, I think the film has an eerie similarity to the recent Shraddha case, and the name in the trailer is also Shraddha. About a year ago, Sailesh wrote the script. And there are more real life similarities with the case we’re dealing with in the film HIT2 (sic),” he said.
HIT 2 to be a Pan-India film?
With the trend of Pan-India films catching up, many films are now being dubbed in multiple languages to have a widespread approach. Adivi 2 also hinted at Hit 2’s pan-India release. However, the first part of HIT franchise has already release in Hindi with Rajkummar Rao in leading role. Talking about the Pan-India release, Adivi Sesh said, “This was originally intended to be a Telugu film. However, I got many requests from the North requesting that HIT 2 be released on a pan-India level. Now I’m going to discuss with Nani Garu about the Pan-India launch of HIT2 (sic).”
About HIT 2
HIT 2, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, is an investigation thriller. Adivi Sesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary star in the film. The supporting cast includes Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, and Komalee Prasad. Prashanti Tirpineni and Nani’s Wall Poster Cinema produced the film.
Shraddha Walker Case
Aaftab Amin Poonwala allegedly strangled his live-in partner Shraddha Walker and cut her body into 35 pieces, which he kept in a fridge at his home in Mehrauli, South Delhi, for three weeks. He then dumped the body part across the city.
