Actress Emma Roberts has welcomed her first child, a baby boy. Emma and her partner Garrett Hedlund have reportedly named the child Rhodes.
According to eonline.com, Emma gave birth to the child on December 27. “Everyone is healthy,” the source was quoted as saying.
The newborn weighs nine pounds and is healthy as well, reported The Daily Mail. However, Emma and Garrett are yet to make the official announcement.
Emma had already revealed the sex of her child in an Instagram post. Opening up about her pregnancy on Instagram in August. “Me…and my two favourite guys,” she had written alongside photos of the actor and her baby bump.
For the uninformed, Emma and Garrett started dating in 2019 shortly after the actress broke off her engagement with X-Men star Evan Peters. Emma Roberts and Garette Hedlund are popularly known for their role in the movie Troy.
Emma had earlier said that she always wanted to have a baby, Reportedly, the 29-year-old actress had her eggs frozen in her early twenties after she was diagnosed with endometriosis, a condition where uterus begins to grow outside the uterine activity.
The actress also held an intimate baby shower in October which was only attended by 15 people amid the covid-19 protocols. Emma had shared a glimpse of her garden party on Instagram with the caption: “So grateful to my family and pod for making my pregnancy feel so celebrated during such wild times.”
