India defeated England by 5 wickets to win the series, courtesy an undefeated century by Rishabh Pant. India was 72 for four at the loss of one wicket, when chasing a goal of 260 before being saved by Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya. India successfully defended the score with 47 balls remaining to the pair’s 133 run for fifth-wicket partnership. Hardik was out after reaching 71 while Pant continued undefeated at 125 after scoring his first ODI century.
With Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav contributing 34 runs, Indian team started their comeback. Craig Overton, though, disqualified Suryakumar, dealing a severe setback to India. But Rishabh Pant made a comeback when Hardik Pandya joined him.
There was no stopping once Rishabh Pant mentioned his first ODI century. In order to lead team blue to a five-wicket victory, he pounded David Willey for five straight boundaries.

Indian team had earlier dismissed England for 259 runs, but captain Rohit Sharma won’t be pleased. India was fairly pricey despite Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya each taking four wickets. England scored 259 in 45.5 overs thanks to Jos Buttler’s 60, as well as contributions from Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, and David Willey.
The Indian team made a strong start after choosing to bowl. Mohammed Siraj and Hardik Pandya shook up England’s top order. Between Jason Roy and Ben Stokes, Hardik broke the impasse.
