Jacqueline Fernandez was busy promoting Cirkus with co-stars Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, and Pooja Hedge prior to its theatrical debut. The actress explained how she ended up hitting Ranveer and Varun on the set of Rohit Shetty’s film during a media interview. Jacqueline admitted to being nervous on the first day of the session. As a consequence, the actress smacked Ranveer and Varun. In the interview, Ranveer also joked that his Cirkus co-star, Jacqueline, damaged his ‘jawline’ while production.

Jacqueline stated in a media interview, as reported by ANI, “I was so frightened on the first day of the shoot that I smacked Varun and Ranveer in the photo. I was so anxious that I smacked them instead of doing the slap scenario. And I felt like I broke the ice after that. We all broke the ice, you see.” Ranveer responded in a hilarious manner, saying, “Yes. I broke up my jawline and needed ice.”
Cirkus, directed by Rohit Shetty, was released in theatres today (December 23). Johnny Lever, Siddharth Jadhav, Murali Sharma, and Ashwini Kalsekar are among those who appear in the comedy caper. Cirkus, set in the 1960s, stars Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan in dual roles.

Meanwhile, this is Ranveer’s third film with Rohit, following Simmba and Sooryavanshi. It has been confirmed that a Simmba sequel will be produced. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh’s wife, has now entered Shetty’s policing universe. She will appear as Lady Singham in Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again. The film is expected to hit theatres in 2023.
