Jacqueline Fernandez stopped from leaving India at Mumbai airport

Actor Jacqueline Fernandez was stopped at Mumbai airport from leaving India over ₹ 200 crore extortion case, involving rumoured conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. According to sources, she was on her way to Dubai for a show.

An ANI report said a look-out circular (LOC) was issued with directions that she should not be permitted to leave India. She left terminal-2 of the airport through departure gate no. 3 around 5.15pm.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Bollywood actresses Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with an alleged Rs 200-crore money-laundering case against con artists Sukesh Chandrasekar and his actor-wife Leena Paul.

ED in its charge sheet in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar fraud case mentioned that actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi received gifts from the alleged conman. During the interrogation, Chandrashekhar revealed that he had given Jacqueline gifts worth crores and a luxury car to Nora Fatehi.

Jacqueline Fernandez has been questioned by the ED several times in the case, after she had evaded multiple summons. She is expected to be interrogated again after she was stopped from leaving India.
