Jacqueline Fernandez: Patiala House Court in Delhi has extended actor Jacqueline Fernandez’s interim bail till November 10 in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving multi-millionaire conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Court directive
The court directed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to provide a chargesheet and other relevant documents to all parties. The hearing of bail and other pending applications is scheduled for November 10.
Earlier the actress was granted interim bail on a bail bond of Rs 50,000. Additional Sessions Judge Shailender Malik had sought a response from the ED on the bail plea and an interim bail was granted to her.
The probe agency filed a chargesheet on August 17 naming the actor as an accused in the case.
Expensive gifts
Jacqueline was allegedly received jewellery worth over Rs 7 crore by Sukesh Chandrasekhar. According to reports, Sukesh also gifted several high-end cars, expensive bags, clothes, shoes and costly watches to the actor and her family members.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar is currently in jail. The conman is accused of cheating various high-profile individuals, such as former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh’s wife Aditi Singh.
Jacqueline and another Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi had earlier recorded their statements as witnesses in the case.

Assets attached
The ED had also attached fixed deposits worth Rs 7.2 crore belonging to Fernandez. It termed the gifts and properties as “proceeds” of crime received by the actress.
ED also questioned Jacqueline’s stylist Leepakshi Ellawadi who reportedly admitted that she knew about the relationship shared by Fernandez and Chandrashekhara and that Sukesh had given her Rs 3 crores to buy clothes and gifts for Jacqueline.
