In a recent statement that has grabbed attention, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait offered stern advice to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan regarding the ongoing threats from notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Tikait suggested that Salman Khan should consider apologising for the infamous blackbuck case to avoid potential harm from Bishnoi, who is currently behind bars but remains a significant threat.
“Apologize, or Face Consequences,” Warns Rakesh Tikait
Tikait’s advice comes in light of the escalating tension surrounding Salman Khan and the Bishnoi community, particularly after the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique. The Bishnoi gang, allegedly behind Siddique’s death, has been vocal about its grudge against Salman due to his involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, a deeply sensitive issue for the Bishnoi community.
Speaking on the matter, Tikait urged Salman Khan to visit a Bishnoi temple and offer a public apology. He said, “Yeh samaj se juda hua mamla hai. Salman Khan ko mandir jaa kar maafi maang leni chahiye, nahi toh jail me band aadmi pata nahi kab tapakwa de.”
Tikait highlighted that this issue isn’t just a personal feud but one that resonates with the entire Bishnoi community, which holds the blackbuck sacred. “It’s not just about one person; it’s about respecting a community’s values,” he emphasized.
Tikait on Lawrence Bishnoi: “A Dangerous Man”
During his statement, Tikait did not mince words about the danger posed by Lawrence Bishnoi. Referring to the gangster as a “badmaash aadmi” (bad man), Tikait warned Khan to take the threat seriously. Bishnoi, currently imprisoned, has gained notoriety for his criminal activities and his strong influence even from within jail.
The feud between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi took a serious turn due to the 1998 blackbuck incident. Bishnoi, who reveres the animal, has publicly expressed his resentment toward the bollywood actor, intensifying concerns over Salman Khan’s safety. Tikait believes that offering a public apology at a Bishnoi temple could potentially ease the tension.
Baba Siddique’s Murder Raises Alarms
Tikait’s warning to Salman Khan gains more weight after the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was shot dead on October 12 by gunmen allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The incident has sent shockwaves, with fears that the gang’s reach extends far beyond the confines of prison walls.
The murder of Siddique, carried out in broad daylight, is a chilling reminder of the gang’s boldness and operational capabilities. Mumbai Police has since arrested 15 individuals connected to the crime, but the event has fueled anxieties about the safety of high-profile figures, including Salman Khan.
