Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan was released in the theatres on 7 September. Fans were excited to see Shah Rukh Khan in a stunning and never-seen-before avatar. The shows are going houseful with fans dancing outside the cinema halls to celebrate the release of this multi-starrer. But reports are coming that the film has been leaked on piracy websites just hours after its theatrical release.
Trade analysts speculated that Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi starrer will collect more than Rs 70 crore but experts claimed that the leaked version of Jawan can impact the collection because some fans prefer watching Jawan on their smartphones instead of waiting outside the cinema halls due to houseful shows.
Jawan leaked online just hours after release
‘Jawan,’ which was released in theatres three months late, is playing to packed houses. The film is also predicted to gross a minimum of Rs 75 crore on Day 1. In the midst of all the excitement, the film succumbed to piracy. ‘Jawan’ has reportedly been released online in HD download on Torrent websites, Tamilrockers, Telegram, and Movierulz.
While the film’s leak on Day 1 is anticipated to have an impact on its box office performance, it is not predicted to have a significant impact on the expected box office amount. For the unversed, Piracy is a criminal offence that is penalized by law, according to the Copyright Act of 1957.
