Jigra On Netflix: Alia Bhatt is coming with her film Jigra on Netflix. The streaming platform announced today that the film will be available for it's users to watch from 6th December 2024. Fans are reacting to the film's release with appreciation. A lot of the comments under the post are about how the film went underappreciated in theatres.

The streamer shared the film's poster with it's release date on their Instagram. The caption of the post reads,"Phoolon aur taaron ne kaha hai, ulti ginti shuru karlo... Jigra is arriving tomorrow on Netflix."
The film is a directorial venture of Vasan Bala with Alia Bhatt starring in the lead role along with Vedang Raina. Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions serve as the film's production arm along with Alia Bhatt herself. The story follows Alia's character as she deals with life challenges to free her brother from prison. The film had a theatrical release on 11th October 2024. Upon release the film got mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. The film has an IMDB score of 7.0 with 17 thousand ratings as of now. Moreover, it failed to recover it's 90 crore (approx.) reported budget and ended it's box office run with a total of ₹56 crore (approx.) according to Sacnilk.
Alia Bhatt Fans React To Jigra On Netflix
Fan reactions to the release of Jigra have been positive. In the Netflix's announcement post fans are expressing their love for their film and saying that the film went underappreciated in theatres. One user went on to say that Jigra is one of the finest film of the year for him.
Over the years, Alia Bhatt has been delivering with her performance consistently. Fans also liked her performance in the Gal Gadot starrer Alia Bhatt. It will be interesting to see how Jigra performs on Netflix and how this commercial failure affects her perception among fans moving forward. She is currently working as the lead in the YRF spy universe film Alpha. However, there is no tentative release date for the film yet. Jigra releases on Netflix on 6th December 2024.
