Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth’s film Vettaiyan released on 10th October, a day before Friday. Whereas Alia Bhatt’s Jigra and Rajkummar Rao Triptii Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video was released on the 11th of October.

Vettaiyan First Day Box Office Collection
T.J Gnanvel directorial Vettaiyan starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and Rana Daggubatti performed pretty well on the big screen. With a sensitive and social story, Vettaiyan garnered praise for its hooking effect on the viewers. The film is released in all four major South Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. It is also available in Hindi. Upon combining the collection of each language, the film grossed INR 37 crore as per sacnilk. Talking about the Hindi version, it could not do that much on screen and earned 0.6 crore on the first day. The maximum contribution to Vettaiyan’s first-day box office collection was from Tamil Nadu.
Jigra First Day Box Office Collection
Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina starrer Jigra is released on 11th October. This Vasan Bala directorial is receiving praises for the story and people are interested to watch the film. However, the first-day collection fell short of the expectations people had set for the film. The film earned INR 4.55 crore on Box Office. Jigra was released in two languages Hindi and Telugu and out of which the film grossed 4.5 crore in Hindi and 0.5 crore in Telugu.
VVKWWV First Day Box Office Collection
The film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video starring Tripti Dimri and Rajkummar Rao also received mixed reactions for their film. However, fans are complimenting Triptii Dimri’s acting in the movie. The film was released in Hindi language only and it grossed INR 5.25 crore on the first day.

If we talk about the overall result then Amitabh Bachchan’s Vettaiyan is winning the Dussehra 2024 fight with clear margins. But, if we talk about Hindi cinema then Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is a winner for the first-day box office collection.
