Jimin and Taeyang collaboration: K-pop world is relishing as two of the biggest bands’ members’ — BTS’ Jimin and BIGBANG’s Taeyang — have announced their collaboration. The rumours of a potential collab between the two singers have been making rounds for quite some time now. Now, BIGHIT Music has just confirmed that the two K-pop icons are collaborating for a single titled Vibe. The song will be out on January 13, Jimin’s agency announced, along with sharing the first look poster.
Jimin and Taeyang collaborate for VIBE
Vibe is Jimin’s first solo project after the seven-member band announced their brief hiatus last year. Meanwhile, Vibe will also mark Taeyang’s maiden venture after joining The BLACKLABEL, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment. The first poster of Vibe has Jimin and Taeyang in shining black and red outfits, oozing cool vibes. The caption reads, “VIBE (Feat. Jimin of BTS) 2023.01.13. 2 PM KST.”

BTS member announced a hiatus post their 10th anniversary celebration in 2022. The members cited their personal endeavours as the reason for brief split. Since then, three members — RM, Jin and Jungkook — have dropped their solo projects. While other members — Suga, V and J-hope — have also teased fans about their solo project in VLives and interviews.
Meanwhile, Jin is currently severing in ARMY, while Suga is expected to serve as a Public Service officer.
