BTS: The BTS members benefit from all aspects of their success, including music, fans, visuals, vocals, and now brands. The impact of South Korean icons on the world has increased significantly recently. The group has proudly displayed its enormous presence, and rightfully so, performing free concerts in their home country and taking over international venues with thousands of spectators. Brand deals will undoubtedly approach their doors after such an impact without any hesitation. Earlier, the seven would sign all contracts collectively, but their June 2022 announcement, in which they said they would also prioritize solo projects, gave the members more opportunities.
Journey of BTS with Louis Vuitton
The South Korean group first collaborated with the fashion house for their outfits in 2019 as they promoted their album. However, the group’s official relationship with the label didn’t begin until 2021 when they were chosen to serve as its global brand ambassadors. The septet was also performed for the Men’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection by then-Artistic Director Virgil Abloh. After two years of productive collaborations, it is said that the fashion house and the group’s contract is now up.
SUGA as Valentino’s Brand Ambassador
SUGA, a member of BTS, is much more than just the group’s rapper. Along with the other six members, he has been contributing to the group’s success in numerous ways, from offering his insightful opinions to creating productions that have achieved great success. After a recent trip to Los Angeles, where a unique partnership between him and the Italian luxury fashion house was revealed, he was formally introduced as the brand’s newest brand ambassador on January 17. He’ll become a member of the Di people. Vas stands for Different Values, which they intend to promote through their products. The BTS member will direct the Maison Valentino Essentials campaign, which he hopes will help the brand and him spread their mutual appreciation of diversity.
Jimin as Dior Brand Ambassador
Jimin, a member of BTS, was named the French luxury fashion house’s official global brand ambassador on January 16. He is the brand’s 18th official ambassador at the moment, according to reports, and the first Asian male celebrity to hold that title. This agreement continues the group’s long-standing relationship with the company, as Dior created the members’ stage attire for their 2019 “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” world tour. Jimin is the ideal representative for the brand because of his flair for carrying his clothes.
J-Hope as Louis Vuitton Brand Ambassador?
J-Hope will travel to Paris Fashion Week in 2023 to attend the company’s Men’s Fall-Winter 2023 Fashion Show, Louis Vuitton revealed on the same day. Through Instagram stories posted on his account in the previous week, the BTS member previously hinted at a potential collaboration with the company. Additionally, it appears that the singer of “Jack In The Box” is working on a new solo fashion project, one that will probably take into account his own renowned sense of style.
Member Jimin is anticipated to accompany J-Hope on his promotional trip to Paris Fashion Week in advance of the latter’s upcoming solo debut. Other than these, none of the other members have officially signed any deals with any brands. Here is what the upcoming days will bring.
Jin as Cartier Brand Ambassador?
Fans are rooting for Jin to sign a deal with Cartier because they believe that the company would be the best fit for him even though the oldest member is currently serving in the military and won’t sign anything until he gets back.
V as Celine Brand Ambassador
The BTS member is more than likely to sign with the French luxury brand after his solo performance last year with BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Park Bo Gum, which went viral for all the right reasons. V is rumored to have a soft spot for the company and can carry their self-assured clothes with style. Fans are also hoping that he signs with Gucci, a brand with a fancier aesthetic that would go great with the K-pop star.
Jungkook as Versace Brand Ambassador
The group’s youngest member was seen performing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony while wearing a stunning fit from the company. It complemented the BTS member’s well-known expensive but appealing appearance. Additionally, they have more daring options for when Jungkook wants to go against the grain, and given their encounter with Donatella Versace at the 64th GRAMMY Awards, it seems highly likely.
RM as Bottega Veneta Brand Ambassador
The Italian brand may be working on a potential plan to sign the BTS leader, as evidenced by its appearance in RM’s “Indigo” promotions. Fans are hoping that Kim Namjoon’s smart styling turns out to be the right fit for him, even though it’s possible that he chose his outfits out of personal preference rather than as part of a fashion deal. They have learned that Bottega Veneta’s creative director Matthieu Blazy and chief marketing and digital officer Dario Gargiulo recently began following the member of BTS, which confirms their beliefs.
