Jung Ho Yeon Creates History: The list of the “TIME 100 Next,” an expansion of the “TIME 100,” the most significant individuals in the world, was released on September 28 by “TIME,” a renowned US weekly news magazine.
The “TIME 100 Next” program chooses 100 young people who are leading the way in a range of industries, including business, entertainment, sports, politics, health, science, and activism. Jung Ho Yeon has been described as a “great individual who chooses a novice who has earned syndrome-like fame in a field.”
“I think Jung Ho Yeon has been showered with fame, expectations, success, and her desires every day,”director Hwang Dong Jyuk said, adding,”There is no doubt that she has the skills and courage to fight countless battles”. Together with NBA basketball player Ja Morant, well-known Hollywood actor Simon Ashley, and Sydney Sweeney, Jung Ho Yeon was included in the list of “Wonderful People.”

In 2010, Jung Ho Yeon started her career as a solo model by participating in two seasons of the Seoul Fashion Week. She finished second in the fourth season of ‘Korea’s Next Top Model’ in 2013. After making her worldwide catwalk debut during New York Fashion Week, she became noted for her ‘fiery’ red hair. In 2016, she had been a Louis Vuitton exclusive, and in 2021, she will be a global spokesperson for the company.
In 2021, she had her television debut as Kang Sae Byeok in the Netflix series ‘Squid Game,’ which garnered her worldwide exposure and critics’ choice as the show’s main star. She received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her work on the show, and she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
