K-Pop Singer Wonho is a famous Korean singer. Even though Wonho is obligated to join the South Korean military next month, his story is far from over. It was announced that the K-Pop soloist would begin serving his mandatory eighteen months as a public service worker on December 5 in statements released on Wednesday, Nov. 16. However, not before he creates a few projects for his fans to watch while he’s away.
According to a statement from Wonho’s Highline Entertainment representatives uploaded to his Daum Café page, “Wonho will join as a public service worker on December 5th 2022 to do his responsibility as a Korean citizen.”
Wonho posted notice on his website
The 29-year-old artist published a letter to his followers WENEE on the website. According to Soompi, it is translated from Korean to English and reads, “Each and every day that I’ve spent together with WENEE up until now, we’ve made so many memories together that if I simply spent one day looking back on each one of those days, it would already have time for us to meet again.”
Before leaving the group in late 2019, Wonho first rose to fame as a member of the boy band Monsta X, with whom he recorded multiple albums and EPs. Since then, he has released four EPs as a solo artist, and little over a month ago, he dropped the two-song project Bittersweet.
