Rajeeta Kochhar, an actor who appeared in Tantra, Kavach…Kaali Shaktiyon Se, Hatim, and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, died on Friday of renal failure in Mumbai. She was 70 years old. Rajeeta suffered a stroke in September 2021, according to the late actor’s niece Nupur Kampani, which was followed by paralysis. While her health was steadily improving, she complained of shortness of breath and stomach ache on December 20. As her condition deteriorated, she was placed on a ventilator and died at 10.15 p.m.
Nupur claimed that everyone on the sets of Rajeeta’s shows adored her and referred to her as ‘maa’. She stated that it was a big loss for her since, despite the fact that Rajeeta was not her real mother, she always treated her niece as if she were her own daughter. Rajeeta’s husband Rajesh Kochhar and daughter Kapisha survive her. She had ceased acting following her stroke.
Nupur recalled her last conversation with Rajeeta Kochhar
Nupur recalls her last exchange with Rajeeta Kochhar: “When I met her in the evening (December 23), she grasped my hand and thanked me for everything. When I told her she had to live for me, she gave me a thumbs up. That was our final discussion. “I believe she knew she was leaving.”
