Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is in the news right now because of her upcoming movie, “Emergency,” which releases on September 6, 2024. Kangana has been doing interviews on different news broadcasters to promote the movie. But some of the things she said in these interviews caused a stir, and as a result, trolls started attacking her online. We’ll talk about three of these remarks from her most recent interviews today that have garnered a lot of attention.

The ‘Ram Covid’ Remark

In a recent interview with Lallantop, Kangana Ranaut mistakenly referred to former President Ram Nath Kovind as ‘Ram Covid.’ While answering a question, she said, “Tabhi toh humare Pradhan Mantri ji ne kiya, jab ‘Ram Covid’ ji aaye, pehle Dalit Rashtrapati woh bane.” The anchor corrected her by pointing out that K.R. Narayanan was the first Dalit President. This clip has since gone viral on social media.

Controversial Statement on Farmers

Kangana Ranaut, who won the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh as a BJP MP, made another controversial statement in an interview with ‘Dainik Bhaskar.’ She remarked, “Agar desh mein mazboot netritva nahi hota, toh Bharat mein Bangladesh jaisi sthiti paida ho sakti thi. Kisano ke virodh pradarshan ke dauran shav latak rahe the aur rape ho rahe the.” Following this statement, the BJP issued a warning to Kangana.

Kangana’s Views on Marriage

During an appearance on India TV’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat,’ when Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma questioned her about marriage, Kangana replied, “Main toh khud shaadi karna chahti hoon lekin log mere baare mein afwahein phaila rahe hain ki main ladayi ke saath pitayi bhi karti hoon. Aisa kuch nahi yaar, jo mujhe bina matlab mein pareshaan karega, main bhi usse chhodungi nahi chahe koi bhi ho. Ladka mil jaye toh shaadi toh kal kar loon.”
