Kangana Ranaut Responds to Criticism on Twitter

Kangana Tweeted, “Today I have become everyone’s favourite target, this is the price you pay for awakening this sleeping nation, they don’t know what I am talking about they have no clue why I am so concerned, because they want peace, they don’t want to take sides. They are cool, you know chilled!! Ha ha wish that poor soldier on the border had the same privilege of being cool, wish he didn’t have to take sides , and consider Pakistanis/Chinese his enemies. He is protecting you while you can lust over terrorists or anti- nationals.”

She added, “Wish that young woman whose crime was only that she was alone on the road and was raped to pieces, she was probably a gentle and kind person who loved humanity but was her humanity reciprocated? Wish all the robbers and criminals were also having the same love and affection like this cool and sleeping generation but the truth of life is something else. Don’t worry they are coming for you if some of us also become cool like you all they will get you and then you will know the importance of uncool people.”

Ranaut’s Commentary on Border Security and Public Safety

Tensions of the day further came out into the open when Himachal Pradesh Revenue Minister and Congress MLA Jagat Singh Negi accused Ranaut of going to the flood-affected areas of Himachal Pradesh only after things had settled down. Negi went on to sarcastically add that rains must have spoiled her makeup as she was not bothered about the flood victims but was more concerned about her make-up.

Ranaut had earlier shared pictures of her Himachal visit, wherein the destruction caused by rains and flood was captured extensively. The visit had been in controversy and comments by Negi added fuel to it.

Addressing the Unspoken Realities of Crime and Safety

Besides these controversies, Ranaut’s film Emergency was getting delayed after a legal tussle. The Bombay High Court did a postponement of the film’s release date from September 6 to a tentative new date of September 18 by refusing to grant an order. This happened following the orders from the Madhya Pradesh High Court to the CBFC to consider objections before granting certification to the film. Undaunted by these obstacles, Kangana Ranaut surmises that such criticisms are an offshoot of the larger challenge of collaring and conveying critical issues affecting society.

Public Reactions to Ranaut’s Bold Statements

People reacts on Kangana tweet in the comment section. One person wrote, “Speak your heart out without fear. Political correctness will never work.” Another person commented, “They didn’t faced you till now. You are strong enough to defeat their agenda of demean our country . We are with you.” One person wrote, ” People love to play it safe and act like nothing’s their problem until it hits them in the face. You can’t stay ‘neutral’ in a world that’s falling apart, pretending everything’s fine while others pay the price. The system’s broken, and most are too scared or lazy to face it. Cool? Nah, it’s just ignorance dressed up as indifference. Keep sitting on the sidelines, but don’t cry when it’s your turn to deal with the mess.”
