Kanguva actress Disha Patani‘s father, Jagdish Singh Patani, has reportedly been cheated of ₹25 lakh. Jagdish Patani, a retired Circle Officer (CO) from Bareilly, was promised a top position in the Uttarakhand government or a lucrative commission. However, the promises turned out to be fake. The fraudsters not only failed to deliver but also threatened him when he asked for his money back.

Disha Patani’s Father Duped of ₹25 Lakh with Fake Promises

According to reports from LiveHindustan, the scammers convinced Disha Patani’s father to pay ₹25 lakh, assuring him a high-profile government role. They agreed to refund the money with interest if the promise wasn’t fulfilled within three months. Six months later, neither the position was given nor the money returned. Despite repeated requests, Jagdish Patani did not receive any response from the accused.

Threats Faced by Disha Patani’s Father Over Refund Demand

When Jagdish Patani asked for his money back, he reportedly began receiving threats. Feeling unsafe, he filed a complaint with the Bareilly Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). Acting on the complaint, Bareilly Kotwali police registered a case against five individuals. The accused include Acharya Jayprakash, a member of Juna Akhada in Rishikesh.

Police Probe Fraud Involving Disha Patani’s Father

The Bareilly police have launched an investigation into the fraud involving Disha Patani’s father. Efforts are underway to trace the accused and recover the money. The case has drawn public attention due to Disha Patani’s celebrity status. However, the actress has not made any statements about the incident yet. Authorities continue their probe as Jagdish Patani hopes for justice.
