Kanguva: South Indian superstar Suriya is all set to take his fans on a historical ride like a warrior with his upcoming flick Kanguva. Kanguva Advance Booking is record-breaking
After his cameo in Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira, Suriya is coming back on the big screen with his 39th announced film. Apart from him, Bobby Deol is also making his debut in Tamil Film Industry as a villain with Kanguva. For a very long time, fans have been waiting to see two of the biggest superstars on the big screen together. Yesterday the pre-booking of the shows started fans couldn’t resist but flocked in huge numbers to book the tickets.
According to reports Kanguva has sold over 100K tickets on BookMyShow on the first day of pre-booking. Some reports have suggested that Suriya’s film in Tamil version alone has sold over 50K tickets including the blocked seats. Not only that, the collection of Kanguva has risen to 2.31Cr, as per Sacnilk. Bobby Deol and Suriya’s upcoming release earned around 1.43 Cr in Tamil versions alone. Film’s Telugu versions are also not that behind, it made around 58 lakh with both 2D and 3D screening. The Hindi versions also earned 10.5 lakh on the first day of advance booking.
If we talk about locations then Tamil Nadu has contributed the most in Siva’s film collection, INR 78.31 lakh. Kerela is contributing INR 43.59 lakh in the advance booking started on Tuesday.
When’s the film Releasing?
Siruthai Siva directorial Kanguva is set to hit the theaters on 14th November. Superstar Suriya will be in dual roles in the film, Bobby Deol will play the villain and Disha Patani will also be seen in a crucial role of Angelina. The estimated budget of the film is INR 300-350 cr.
Suriya Fans’ Visible Disappointment With Tamil Nadu Govt
As Suriya’s upcoming film is releasing in different languages and versions, fans are receiving special gifts along with the film. The gift of early shows. In states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerela and Karnataka Kanguva has early shows starting as early as 4 AM. But, Suriya’s home, Tamil Nadu fans are expressing disappointment, as the show begins at 9 AM in the state. However, there is a rule in Tamil Nadu to screen four shows per day but the government has permitted to add extra shows. But, this didn’t impress the TN fans. Kanguva will hit the theatres tomorrow, on 14th November.
