Sapthami Gowda: The Vaccine War director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has added Kantara actor Sapthami Gowda to his cast. She was recognized for contributing to the film, and the director tweeted that her involvement in it would “touch many hearts.” Sapthami will make her feature debut in The Vaccine War. The Vaccine War, which Vivek Agnihotri wrote and directed, will be released in 11 languages in theatres on July 4, 2023.
Sapthami Gowda shared the news on Twitter, “I’m glad and excited to be a part of this project! Thank you @vivekagnihotri sir for this opportunity.” Vivek Agnihotri replied to that tweet, “Welcome Sapthami. Your role in #TheVaccineWar will touch many hearts.

Vivek discussed her casting in a Cinema Express article that Sapthami posted on Twitter, saying, “I’m doing an Indian film. We wanted to bring the right cast and work with talented actors regardless of where they come from. We have finished the Lucknow programme and Sapthami will join the team for the Hyderabad schedule, which begins in a few days. I saw Kantara, and I thought she was excellent as Leela. When I called Sapthami, she gladly accepted to play the part since I really wanted her to be in my movie. Her addition to The Vaccine War’s crew makes me extremely delighted.”
