Amid all the festivities during Diwali, Sara Ali Khan also had a party at her house on Thursday. Her ex-boyfriend and Love Aaj Kal 2 co-star Kartik Aaryan was also present. Arriving at the celebration in a bright yellow kurta and white pyjamas with kolhapuris, Kartik looked shaven. Along with her partner Aditya Roy Kapur, Ananya Panday, who had accompanied Sara on the couch for Koffee With Karan, was there at the celebration.

A video of Kartik posing for pictures before going into the party location was uploaded by a paparazzo. But instead of grinning broadly as usual, he posed for a short while before entering.
Sara on being friends with Kartik
A day after the transmission of her latest Koffee With Karan episode, in which she discussed breakups and stated that it was “not always easy” to be friendly with someone one had previously been connected with, Kartik makes an appearance at Sara’s Diwali celebration.
At one point, Ananya and Sara were asked by Karan Johar if it was simple for them to get along with each other after dating Kartik. The actress said, ” I don’t want to say, yeah it’s all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy. When you’re involved with anybody, whether they are your friends, whether it’s professionally or romantically. Especially if I am, I get involved. I get invested. So it’s not like Oh yeah, It doesn’t really matter. These things do affect you.”
Shr added, ” Ultimately you have to rise beyond that. And something I realised, there are actually no permanent predicaments in this business. There is no point in making permanent best friendships. pinky promises. I won’t talk to the person. All these nevers don’t really work.”
