Manish Shah, the owner of Goldmines Telefilms, accused Kartik Aaryan of unprofessional behaviour and disclosed that Kartik had threatened to quit Shehzada if the movie’s dubbed version was shown in theatres. For those who are unaware, Shehzada is a Hindi remake of “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” starring Allu Arjun. In the end, Manish chose to distribute the dubbed movie on the OTT platform rather than having it play in theatres. Manish claimed that Kartik Aaryan was the reason he did not make this important decision. He disclosed that he had solid relationships with Allu Arjun and other producers, which allowed him to take a significant stride.
Kartik opted out Shah Rukh Khan’s Film
Shah Rukh Khan was planning to produce a film and feature Kartik Aaryan in that. The Shehzada actor opted out of the film because he didn’t like the script. There were reports that things weren’t right between Kartik and director Ajay Bahl.
The source revealed, “Yes, Kartik Aaryan was to feature in Ajay Bahl’s social comedy that was being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies. However, the actor has now walked out of the project that was supposed to commence shooting in a few months. Creative differences developed between Kartik and the director Ajay Bahl due to which the actor decided on leaving the project. Kartik was not happy with the developed script as it was different from what was narrated to him as a one-liner plot.”
Break Up with Sara Ali Khan
In the episode of Koffee with Karan, the actress disclosed that she had wished to go on a date with Kartik. Shortly after, she was given the opportunity to collaborate with him on ‘Love Aaj Kal’.They began dating after falling in love during the filming, but their relationship did not last long. Unfortunately, they split up after the movie came out, and Amrita Singh was the cause for it—she wasn’t comfortable with Sara’s connection with Kartik.
Misogynistic Tweet
Kartik Aaryan shared a video of his sister preparing roti in 2020 during the lockdown, in which he could be heard berating her for not being able to prepare “Gol Roti.” The people went crazy over this and began calling him a sexist. He later removed the tweet.
Kartik Aaryan was thrown out of Dostana 2
Kartik was a part of Dostana 2 which is produced by Dharma Productions. The production house posted on Instagram that they are going to recast for the film due to the professional circumstances. There are reports that Kartik was thrown out of the film and the actor spoke on that in an interview. He said, “Jab bhi aise koi khabar aati hai ya koi controversy aa jati hai to main apne shell mein rehta huin, main shant rehta huin. Main un cheezon mein zyada ghusta hoon, aur naa kuch prove karne se mujhe kuch milta hai.”
