Kartik Aaryan is preparing to wow audiences with his acting abilities in Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s Hindi adaptation Shehzada. While the film was originally scheduled to be released on February 10, it has now been pushed back. The reason, according to an official statement published by the makers, is a show of respect for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which is now busting box office records.

Shehzada’s creators issued a statement on Monday, saying, “#Shehzada gets a new release date! In honour of #Pathaan, this #KartikAaryan #KritiSanon starrer directed by #RohitDhavan and produced by #BhushanKumar #AlluAravind #AmanGill and #KartikAaryan the family entertainer will now be released on February 17th, 2023!”

Shehzada will feature comedy, drama, and romance in addition to action. In addition to Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Sachin Khedekar, and Ronit Roy play important roles. Pritam composed music for the film. Earlier, Kartik Aaryan had remarked at the time of the trailer premiere, “I’m glad for people coming and viewing my films in theatres and I hope the same thing occurs with this film and with my future projects, too. I hope Shehzada surpasses Rs 200 crore. I’ll be overjoyed, and the industry will benefit as well. It’s a whole family entertainment package. So I’m hoping for a strong turnout of families.”
