The ₹7 crore question of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15
On Tuesday, host Amitabh Bachchan posed the 7 crore question to Jaskaran Singh: According to the Padma Purana, which king was cursed by a deer and had to live as a tiger for a hundred years? The choices were as follows: A) Kshemadhurti, Dharmadatta (B), C) Mitadhvaja; D) Prabhanjana.
By correctly answering the 1 crore question, Jaskaran had already become the season’s first crorepati. He chose to quit with the 1 crore reward money since he was apprehensive of the new question. D) Prabhanjana was the correct answer.
About Jaskaran
In his introduction as a contestant on the show, Jaskaran stated that he is one of the few graduates from the Punjab village of Khalra. He is now preparing for his first UPSC entrance exam try next year. He claimed that his father arranged for a plane ticket around ₹9,000-10,000 for his initial flight to Mumbai for the show audition, and that his buddies dropped him up at the airport on a scooter. He stated that he would donate his prize money to his father and that it was his first salary.
