Kaun Banega Crorepati: In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan shared how with courage and determination one can overcome any hardship in life.
The episode started with host Amitabh Bachchan talking about Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s courage and determination in life. He narrated how the late cricketer did not lose hope even after losing an eye in an unfortunate accidents.
Youngest captain
Bachchan said, “I will tell you about a cricketer who lost one eye in an accident. He had difficulty pouring water for himself or driving a car. He thought that this would be the end of his cricketing career. But he challenged his situation and beliefs and made himself so capable, that he could play cricket again. The result of this was that he became the youngest captain of the cricket team. Under his captaincy, he got India to score its first test victory on international grounds. That cricketer was Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. He taught us that if you can see your goal clearly, then there’s no might in the world that will keep you away from your ambition.”
After narrating the incident Big B then resumed the game to play the fastest finger first game. He welcomed Rajendra Gupta, a headmaster of a private school from Jabalpur on the hot seat. The contestant said that he pays fees for half of the students in his school from his own pocket. He also shared the story how he and his three brothers would get punished as kids as they were not able to pay their school fees.

First question
As the game progressed, the contestant was shown a picture of a bathtub and was asked What is this object usually used for? The answer was Option C) Bathing and he won Rs 1000.
Bachchan read out the question for Rs 3000 and it was an audio question – identify the film of this song. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer song “hogaya hai tujhko Toh Pyaar Sajna’ was played. The correct was B) Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge. Rajendra Gupta got it right and Big B narrated an interesting anecdote about the song.
Give me red
Big B shared that Udit Narayan believed that whenever he sang for Shah Rukh Khan he had to wear a red outfit. The song would be hit if he wore red. He would go to studio wearing a red colour outfit.

In the episode Big B also shared how his friend gifted a star named after his name on his birthday around 30-40 years ago.
Another contestant Priyanka Maharshi got a compliment on her hair. Priyanka revealed that just before coming to KBC she cut her long tresses and that she had not touched them in the last 4 years. Amitabh Bachchan revealed, ‘Apni Patni se humne biyaha ek is wajeh se kiya tha ke unke kesh bohot lambe the’ (I married my wife for one of the reasons that she had long hair). He also talked about Lata Mangeshkar’s long hair and praised her.
