Khakee: The Bihar Chapter is now available on Netflix as of November 25. The cop drama, which features Karan Tacker in the lead character, was praised by online users. In the programme, he portrays IPS officer Amit Lodha. In an interview, Lodha responded to the web series by saying he is proud of his men. Based on IPS officer Amit Lodha’s book Bihar Diaries: The True Story of How Bihar’s Most Dangerous Criminal Was Caught, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, which is set in the early 2000s. Avinash Tiwary was portrayed as the mobster Chandan Mahto, and Karan Tacker played the role of Amit Lodha.
Amit Lodha said that he is proud of Bihar Police
In an exclusive interview when questioned about the Netflix series, Amit Lodha responded, “We are proud of Bihar Police and guys who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty and who have tried to make Bihar crime free.”
IPS Amit Lodha was the one who apprehended Chandan Mahto, one of the most wanted offenders. Mahto was wanted in connection with the murder of Congressman Rajo Singh. Lodha was serving as the Superintendent of Police for Bihar at the time. Amit wrote about his experience in a book named Bihar Diaries later that year.
