Khalis Part 1 web series on ULLU: We are quick to judge people without knowing their story. More so often, it’s not people but the circumstances that turn them bitter. However, not everyone can find out the root cause of their bitterness and help them overcome the odds. Streaming giant ULLU on Saturday dropped the trailer of its upcoming series Khalis Part 1 and it has the potential to evoke every human emotion.

Khalis is a story of a woman who was married off young by her parents. After the passing away of her husband, she only has her son by her side. Soon, she welcomes home her bahu with her son being the happiest he has ever been. As time progresses, the saas turns bitter towards bahu, questioning her every move and debating all her decisions. Despite bahu’s best attempts, she fails to impress her saas and cannot zero down the reason behind her cold behaviour. One day, she follows her saas and finds out she is smitten by a man in her neighborhood. She confesses this to her saas an tells her how young marriage followed by loneliness post the passing away of her husband could have effected her life in more than one way.
Initially hesitant, the saas then confides in her young bahu as she tells her how she has been having these racy dreams about a young man in their neighbourhood. Now, the bahu wants the best of everything for her saas and in order to win her over, promises her that she will make that man fall for her. With a little help from her bahu, the saas finally gets to live her dreams. Check out Khalis Part 1 web series trailer on ULLU below:

Khalis stars Aliya Naaz and Priya Gamre in leading roles. It will stream on ULLU from May 26. The makers have shared the trailer of the series with the caption, “Dil se yaad Kiya hai usse dekho Humra hee nasa hai usse bas deko Kab aayegi humre pass wo Na jaane kab pyaar mehraba humra hoga dekho.”
