Insights from Cannes – Working with Sidharth Malhotra
During her visit to Cannes, Kiara sat down with Film Companion to discuss her experience working with her husband, Sidharth Malhotra. Reflecting on their popular film “Shershaah,” she said, “I feel like Shershaah gave us a lot of love as a couple. There’s a certain excitement, and people want to see us together.”
She did stress the significance of preserving their identity as performers, though. As actors, we honour one other’s personal space. Although we are excited to collaborate, every script we examine must resonate with both of us. Since we are primarily individual performers, it is how we would approach any project. We would like to collaborate, but the opportunity must equally thrill us, she said.
