Kim Kardashian may have had a different motive for ending things with Pete Davidson than what was first stated about their hectic schedules and distance issues.
According to a source who spoke with Entertainment Tonight, Kardashian felt “the spark between” them had “faded” after nine months together. The source added that Davidson is “so sweet, but she didn’t feel ready for something serious with him.”
“They had tons of chemistry, and still do, but she kind of wants to be single and date,” the source continued. “Kim still adores Pete and will always be friends with him. She still thinks he’s the nicest and sweetest guy in the world and there’s no drama or anything weird between them now.”
Ultimately, what started out as a “fling” quickly spiralled out of control. “She felt like Pete was the extreme opposite of Kanye and it was good for her then,” the source said. “She initially thought it would be a fun fling, but then it got more serious when they were spending so much time together. Kim wasn’t feeling like she was willing to settle down with him just yet.”
As for Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, it’s being reported that the split between the “once upon a time lovebirds” was on an amicable note. On the other hand, the 41-year-old reality star and entrepreneur and Kanye West’s divorce proceedings are still ongoing as they co-parent their four children – North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
