Koffee With Karan 8: Kiara Advani shares how Sidharth Malhotra proposed to her
Speaking of Sidharth’s proposal, Kiara disclosed that he asked her to marry him using a passage from their 2021 movie Shershaah. Kiara Advani claimed to have sensed that Sidharth would pop the question while she was visiting Rome with his family. She claimed that before he proposed to her, she had asked for her parents’ approval.
The actress said, “So it was the first destination we went to on that trip. He took us to this Michelin star restaurant and his nephew was with us who was supposed to take the photos and capture the moment. I’m sleepy because I have just landed and joined them on this trip. So, I was really tired. And he has planned the works. He has done this candlelight dinner on top. We go back after dinner. He takes me up for a walk and suddenly a violinist comes out of the bushes playing and sweetly his nephew taking our video from the bushes Sid goes on one knee and proposes. I was so overwhelmed. Then he starts saying the lines of Shershaah. He’s like, ‘Dilli ka sidha sadha launda hu with the full dialogues of Shershaah and I burst out laughing.”

There was a portion called the shot game during the broadcast. while enjoying it. Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani were questioned by Karan Johar about how they interacted with their respective in-laws. In response, Vicky recounted an enjoyable incident.
He said, “So, I met them the week before marriage. We had a party at my place and we were all drinking and dancing. Two hours into meeting each other we were dancing on the floor. They’ve seen me dancing on Tip Tip Barsa Pani in the first meeting. The ice was broken, melted, and gone.”
Vicky responded enthusiastically when asked if he had figured out how to make his partner do what he wanted. Kiara gasped as she saw him and questioned, “You managed?” The Sam Bahadur actor responded to this by saying, “See Katrina is the perfect candidate for reverse psychology. If I want her to agree to what I want, I have to wholeheartedly, with abundance agree to what she wants. And then she turns around and she’s like ‘But, I see the point in what you’re saying’ and then she comes around.”
