They talked to the media about their visit to the city and expressed their happiness. They talked to ANI while boating in the holy river. Ranveer said, “I cannot express in words the experience that I have had today. Life long I have been a devotee of lord Shiva and I have come here for the first time.” Manish Malhotra said, “I like coming here lots and lots of time. It is very peaceful here and I have come here earlier as well…I will never forget this Sunday, it is truly truly special.”
Kriti Sanon praised PM Modi as well because Varanasi is the constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The actress said, “What PM Modi has done (in Kashi) in the last ten years is the kind of connectivity be it road, railways or the revamp corridor. Be it the new Ghats which look very beautiful. There has been a lot of development. But the feeling of Kashi- the culture is still the same.”
