Laapata Ladies screening: The special screening of Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laapata Ladies was organized in Mumbai and it was attended by several guests. However, Aamir will not be playing any role but he is producing the film as it is directed by his ex-wife Kiran Rao. Many celebrities including Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Karan Johar, Sharman Joshi, Ali Fazal, Konkana Sensharma, Ira Khan and her husband Nupur Shikhare attended the screening of the film. They all looked gorgeous and made the netizens go berserk with their remarkable and stunning appearances.

Aamir wore a matching jacket and trousers and a black kurta for the screening. Kiran had on a silver blouse and a mustard saree. Sunny Deol chose to wear trousers and a dark grey jacket over a black shirt. Salman Khan was spotted wearing jeans and a black T-shirt underneath a shirt. Kajol accessorised her green ensemble with heels, a black belt, and sunglasses.
Sharman Joshi was spotted wearing jeans and a black T-shirt. Karan Johar chose to dress in black trousers and a jacket. Nupur was dressed in beige trousers and a navy blue T-shirt, while Ira Khan was dressed in a pink saree. Konkona had on a dark blue jacket and trousers with a black top underneath. A video from the event showed Karan hugging Kiran.
About the film
Kiran’s film Laapataa Ladies has been chosen to open the second edition of the IFFM Summer Festival. The story of the film, which is set in rural India in 2001, revolves around the separation of two young brides on a train and what happens when police officer Kishan investigates the missing case. According to news agency ANI, the movie will make its Australian premiere on February 29 at the festival before going on general release on March 1, 2024.
